Sahin was voted best player in Bundesliga in 10/11 season before coming to RM. Got injured in preseason so had to wait 3 months to see him. He is example of where he may play: 2 diff formations: 4231 - holding midfielder alongside another - 433 on left of a three man midfield. Top quality player who is more about speed and creativity in the centre of the pitch than muscle. Left-footed deep-lying playmaker. As a person, very mature & took new boy Varane under his wing on preseason last summer. He is always polite and speaks good English. He had Zidane helping him when he was returning from injury last season which can't have hurt either!
