I say it every game Adam offers nothing and now without Lucas he is being shown up for what he is.
Not one player on that pitch apart from Bellamy and Reina can hold their heads up after that performance. But overall our squad isn't near good enough to be challenging for Top 4 let alone the title.
Kuyt has finally run out of steam and isn't even turning the same gears. he's never been technically gifted but always put in a good shift.
As for Maxi not being interested I can't blame him to be honest. He was shit hot form at the end of last season and the beginning of this and got dropped.
Adam isn't good enough, he doesn't turn a huge gear at all, doesn't work his bollix off. Can't play a 5 yard pass without fucking it up. and will go backwards more than anything else. Last game he messed up 3 backpasses HOW DO YOU DO THAT!. He is great at playing a hollywood ball have to give him that but thats it!.
You mentioned that he doesn't play a 3 man midfield, well that was clear today. Gerrard and Adam can never play together again both wanted to get forward far too much. Adam was suppose to be playing the holding role today and where was he for Reo-Cokers run? Chasing the ball and left the whole midfield open for nigel to have anice gallop. But it's not Adams fault he was played out of position it's Kennys. Oh and another thing about Adam he can't tackle for shit.

I'm always the first to shoot him down but I'm not alone. To be perfectly honest It makes me sick to my stomach to see him on the pitch in a Liverpool Jersey

i am swaying in favour of Chris here Thomas i think Adam has had one really good game for us since signing for us but all kenny's signing apart from enrique have not come up to scratch.

If Liverpool had of put in that "performance" under Woy it wouldnt be acceptable so why should it be accepted now? If this was under Hodgson there would be anarchy

I'm just asking the question as to why the blame is heaped on Adam the whole time. He was poor today and absolutely no debating that. There are more players I've seen that have been poorer than Adam in games that he has been hounded and I just want to know why its always Adam.
I agree 100% about Adam/gerrard combo, but Adams natural position is higher up the pitch. Is that not a fault of the management team ?

Exactly, that's why I posted it about Rafa and Roy.
We are delluded if we think twelve months is going to fully turn things around, but we should not have to see a performance like that. It's just not acceptable.
The biggest low I felt with Roy was that performance when we lost at blackburn 3 1, and this was no better.

We have a lot of average players, the football we are playing now is a 100% improvement on hodgesons era but good football isnt good enough for LFC no matter who is in charge

Not today I'm afraid, and it will take another couple of top class players before we can be confident that it won't happen again.

Seems they won't be this window.

Should of had a striker at this stage if we had planned to replace Suarez and had true ambitions of reaching top 4. Maybe we will though before window closes.
Only the fact that arsenal and Chelski are having mares is still giving us a chance, and we should invest to capalise as it might be harder next season
