CARLING CUP FINAL

Hi all im putting this up early as i would to know if possible anyone could help me as i require 3tickets for final

I would say it's impossible to know until the selling arrangements come out.

I'd imagine anyone with 2+ Carling cup are guaranteed.

anyone with semi (home) and maybe x amount of league games may be next.

or they could bring it down to league only, which could mean loads of spares could be floating about cos more over here would qualify then.

guessing game.

it's only fair those at semi get a decent shout because everyone wants sorted now yet most people looking didn't think to buy a semi ticket and even stoke and Chelsea went down to members sale....

but with only 31000 available, the club had better give loyalty and I think they will.and if they give loyalty to those that already attended Carling cup, I can't see many of those giving up their ticket.

Have Stoke, Chelsea and 2 Man City games on card so should be set for my first cup final.

Booked everything up anyway.

Going to get the train back to Liverpool after the match and go out there, should be great craic.

Not being smart, but people should be grateful if they get one and then anything else is a bonus. Prob won't be going myself but have been inundated with requests for tickets and its pissing me off because a lot of them haven't been to Anfield this past couple of seasons.

Totally agree.

Its always the case when there's a final though so nothing new there and it'll never change.

I just ignore all requests on things like this.

I've no problem with helping someone who wants to go to a premier league game against the half decent teams but people who just ask for big games piss me off.

Does the airport matter, as in is one more expensive to get to/from.

Maggie that hotel is about 14 miles from Wembley, but takes an hour to get there. So would imagine train bus?
Is it near city centre for nightlife

Southern Train to Victoria (Cheaper than the Gatwick Express)then Circle Line to Liverpool Street Ask for tickets to 'Underground Zone 1' which will include both the rail and Underground sections of the journey.

That's the route to get from Gatwick to hotel, tube station is right beside hotel.

Will get the route to Wembley soon

So no issues on airport to fly to?

Nearly everyone that has booked is flying into Gatwick?

Not sure about travel from Luton or Stanstead, I imagine it will be trains and tubes regardless

no flights booked yet as im waiting to see if i get ticket but have triple room booked for the sunday nite Premier Inn London Hanger Lane it 3 miles from stadium.

Any rumours on selling details or date they go on sale??

reckon we're gonna book Stansted from Friday to Monday so we can visit friends while we're over...

hoping we're guaranteed cos we've a few Carling cup credits this season and most of the league matches, bar 2/3. loyalty has to come into it!

I just have a feeling it might go to season ticket holders before members and so not sure how many that would leave for the 1 credit in cup fancards.

not sure if they'll go down the ballot route or not...

Time will tell i suppose.

Have 4 out of 6 games on my card so would be very disappointed if i didn't qualify.

With there been only 1 home game, anyone with 1 away and city home should be covered imo.

Decided to stay in in liverpool the night of final, thought the train might be a good laugh if its full of liverpool fans making the trip. Hopfully it will be good.

stansed express(£30) goes straight to liverpool street in 45 mins, if you stay at the tune hotel its on liverpool st and only a 5 minute walk. tube station right there aswel.
flights to stansted from shannon and cork for the saturday are gone already.
if i get a ticket and go ill fly aer lingus shannon heathrow sunday morning at 8;00am back at 12 monday €80, buy a day pass for the tube about £7/£8 and hop on the tube at heathrow. Tune hotel booked £27.50 p.p. for the night.

Oyster Cards are the handiest option when going around on the London Underground. You just get them at ticket desk and top up money on it. Its a bit cheaper as well

Liverpool Football Club can confirm that it has received approximately 31,500 tickets for the Carling Cup Final.

The full selling details will be confirmed on Tuesday afternoon and published on Liverpoolfc.tv.

Sale dates are as follows

ALL Priority Rights Holders: Thursday 2nd February 2012

Season Ticket Holders, Members & Fan Card holders who have recorded 2 or more Carling Cup matches on their customer record during season 2011/2012 (Supporters in this group are guaranteed a ticket): Friday 3rd February 2012 until midday on Monday 6th February 2012

Season Ticket Holders who have recorded 1 Carling Cup match on their Member's card during season 2011/2012 (Supporters in this group are guaranteed a ticket): Tuesday 7th February 2012 until 3pm on Wednesday 8th February 2012

Ballot details

As we do not have enough tickets to satisfy demand, the remainder of the sale will be subject to a ballot.

Members and Fan Card holders with one 2011/2012 Carling Cup game recorded against their customer record will be required to register their interest in purchasing a ticket between 3pm on Wednesday 1st February and 1pm on Wednesday 8th February 2012. Details of how to register will be published on the website on Wednesday 1st February.

If the amount of applications exceeds the number of tickets available then a random selection will be independently run by the Electoral Reform Service on Thursday 9th February, successful applicants will be emailed on Friday 10th February 2012 and supporters will also be able check the results online.

The sale will proceed as follows:

Members & Fan Card Holders who were successful in the Cup Final Ballot ONLY (Successful supporters in this group are guaranteed a ticket): Monday 13th February 2012 until Wednesday 15th February 2012
