I'd love to be going to this one, a mate of mine won a weekend for two in Liverpool in a raffle in the local last week, 3 nights in a hotel with two tickets for Aintree Grand National plus two tickets for the West Ham game and a grand spending money, the jammy git.

very poor 1st half.west ham maybe unlucky not to be 1 up at break.downing picked up injury during 1st half and replaced by sturridge.

Strangely subdued 1st half we look so lethargic, should batter them in 2nd half if we dont gift them anymore chances because they are creating nothing themselves.

How that isnt a pen to WH ill never know

I laugh when i hear r fans say we are 2-3 players short of a title challenge.unfortuately the squad we have is not good enough and needs hundreds of millions spent just to qualify for top 4.

Not sure about Hundreds of Millions Joe. I think we need a really commanding CB and a Mascherano type in Midfield. The foundations are there just need a bit more added.

Isnt that Diame at West Ham out of contract in the Summer?

I'm not sure, I seen a bit of him earlier,.but not recently so not sure if he is still as impressive.
Not really sure who I would want in there tbh.
Either way, we have not got into cl position with Lucas working in their on his own.

Lucas hasnt hit his top form this season after his injury which is understandable but the energy and strength of that Diame lad is great, in the 2 games against us this season he has been the best midfielder by a good bit. Im pretty sure he will bid for Williams from Swansea whether he is the answer or not im not sure and how much would he cost? 8-10 mill?

Williams would be good for Carras replacement, we still need Skrtels replacement
Lucas has come on leaps and bounds, I love him, but should not be an automatic starter.
It's no coincidence that two managers brought in cm players at first opportunity.
That's the main position we need a truly world class player.
