First time in gym in about 9 weeks. Couldn't fully finish sets without dropping down levels. Then I went to do a jog run after and only lasted 4 mins. Was doing lengths of pool during 9 weeks but am flabregassed

Ive known that the last year after getting over injuries and struggling with niggles on and off. Glutes and groins were fucked yhis year. Year before it was back and hip.
I felt absolutely everything today. Thought I was gonna die on treadmill. 4 fucking minutes

Ive been kind of lucky with injuries in my career, broken ankle, broken ribs, tore my hamstrings pretty bad but came back pretty quick from all of them as i was really really fit and looked after myself. This season is most likely gonna be my last, ive had a few niggles and been unable to train a few times, my experience buys me a few yards nowadays but the problem i have is with not training im putting on weight which i never did all my life, was always like a greyhound. Pissing me off bigtime.

Haha. I only ever done my ankle and ripped the shite out of quad around 19/20. Was grand then for the 3 or 4 years. I think its a lot to do with playing an awful lot on astro turf. I was never the fittest with smokes and all that but always used my brain to get a few mins breather in a game.
Ah sher this could be your best year yet who knows like.
