Not so sure that that league is good enough to keep him "International standard" fit. $9mill 2 year contract I believe, he has made some money in transfers through his career.

Keane makes MLS move to Galaxy
15 August 2011

The Club can announce that it has reached agreement with Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy for the permanent transfer of Robbie Keane.

The Republic of Ireland captain originally joined us from Leeds United in August, 2002 and was part of our 2008 League Cup winning side. He rejoined the Club in February, 2009 after a six-month spell at Liverpool and more recently has spent time on loan with Celtic and West Ham.

He will be a great signing for them. Arsenal need some serious investment in the transfer market. I believe Chelsea are now sniffing around Mata.

Hull have moved to terminate the contract of their club record signing Jimmy Bullard.

Bullard, 32, has not featured for the Tigers this season after being placed on suspension following an incident on a pre-season trip to Slovenia.

He is contracted to the club until the end of the 2012-13 season.

A club statement said: "The club has given notice to terminate the contract of Jimmy Bullard.

"Mr Bullard has a right of appeal and it would be inappropriate to make any further comment at this time that might prejudice this process.

"The club will continue to focus on the development and performance of the squad going forward and is concentrated on efforts to deliver a positive season on and off the pitch for the Tigers."

Bullard, signed from Fulham for £5million in January 2009, attended a disciplinary hearing last week at the KC Stadium, where he was represented by the Professional Footballers' Association.

The former Peterborough and Wigan midfielder, who has started only 19 league games for Hull during his time at the club, has been linked with a move to newly-promoted Barclays Premier League side QPR.
