LFC Transfer Rumours
Roumors going around that Ngog wants to head to Bolton and we are close to tying up an 8m pound move for Scott Dann.
Would be happy to get Dann in as cover, but dont think he is an improvement on any of our current CB's

Re: LFC Transfer Rumours
Need a left back Urgently as preseason has shown how weak our left side is.Downing will track back all day but if player behind aint up to job then its a lost cause.

Re: LFC Transfer Rumours
Agree, pity Aurelio is so injury prone . Top Lb when fit.
The Enrique rumours have quietened down.
Don't know if that means anything though ?

Maybe............ I wonder will we be getting a backup striker or will he just put Dirk into that role.
Re: LFC Transfer Rumours
Dirk would be as good as any imo. Not too worried if we don't get another in tbh

Re: LFC Transfer Rumours
Take the Ngog deal quickly throw Poulsen in too for that price.
McCoist wants Wilson on loan.
Looks like Danny Ayala is as good as gone to Hull. Kinda glad like the lad but he won't be given the chance here and deserves first team football

Comolli: Enrique will be our last signing of the summer
Published 16:06 12/08/11 By MirrorFootball
Director of football Damien Comolli says Jose Enrique will be Liverpool's final signing of the transfer window.
"You can never say never, but it is likely," he said when asked whether there would be any more arrivals.
"I am convinced we were right in what we wanted to do. We've strengthened all the areas we wanted to strengthen with quality.
"I think there is a lot of debate about transfer fees paid - not just with Liverpool but throughout the Premier League.
"But if we have signed a player it is because we were happy to pay the price. For us it is not even a debate.
"We are very happy to have done the business we have done, we think it makes a lot of sense from a footballing point of view and makes a lot of sense from a financial point of view."
On Enrique's qualities Comolli told liverpoolfc.tv: "I am very pleased to have signed arguably one of the best left-backs in the Premier League.
"He is a very quick, strong and powerful athlete with good technique.
"He knows the league and what to expect and what to expect when you play for Liverpool; we know he is going to come in and hit the ground running.
"We think if he does well here, he could be a candidate for the Spanish national team."
Midfielder Alberto Aquilani, who has been linked with a move numerous times, has been given the squad number 15 but left-back Emiliano Insua's future appears to have been decided by Enrique's arrival as he has not been given one.
