He has been poor at best for a while now

See I dont buy into Mignolet being poor for a while now. Yes he should have saved Walters goal today, yes he should have saved Negredo's against City and Yes he should have done better with Eto'o's goal against Chelsea but no-one mentions the 3 top saves he pulled off today from Walters, Gerrard and there was another today might have been Arnatovic. Our CBs have to take a lot of the blame for goals we have conceded, they let players run with the ball at us for too long instead of going out and closing them down. Same for the full backs they are so poor its our Achilles heel.

When I say poor I should really mean not as good as first few months. Yes he made some good saves but all he saved today, id expect him to save. I honestly thought he should have caught walters header. I really do. He is not confident on crosses or pass backs and constantly gives the ball away when passed back. In fairness today it wasnt the best of pass backs. I do think he has had a dip in form.

I agree it a dip in form but he hasn't been poor, its the 4 infront of him im more concerned with:

Hull away 1st goal: I dont know wtf Moses is at initially to give the ball away and then Skrtel backs off instead of closing down, ball deflects off him.
2nd goal: Long punt into the box, free header, Pinball in the pen area, 2 CBs (Skrtel and Toure) jump with Sagbo and we dont get a clearance.... Calamity defending.
3rd goal:  Sagbo dances into the box.. wtf is Skrtel at letting him do this?? Toure joins the party and watches him slip the ball to Huddlestone and it ends in the net via Skrtels head...absolute shambolic defending.



Norwich we whip 5-1 but their goal is sloppy go to 4min45 in this clip, neither Sterling or Johnson make any effort to block the initial crosser down and again Agger is caught out with a ball a commanding CB deals with.

Then we have Chelsea. We go one up now watch Skrtel back off Oscar and how far he runs into our half without a tackle, you just cant do that in this league and not get punished. I think its Johnson also just watch him before and after the ball ricochets off Sahko. For the 2nd goal we have 3 red jerseys around Oscar before he gets the ball across to Eto'o for the goal, there is no way that ball should have come in.



We then have a clean sheet against Hull which was a nice surprise, an FA cup game and then on to today.

Crouch goal: Pause this clip on 27 secs they are 4 in a line against 3 of our defenders and Toure lets Crouch get 2 yards on him and he scores a simple header.
Adam goal: good header out of defence, Henderson tries a pass to Gerrard, Gerrard slips, Adam slips then shrugs off Gerrard, Skrtel backs off and backs off inviting Adam to shoot. He should have closed him down when he seen Gerrard in trouble.
Walters goal: Lose the ball and Skrtel gets pulled out to Arnatovic and doesnt close him down quick enough, he slips the ball into Walters and Toure is caught wrong side running back to his own net.





Thats all the goals we have conceded from the Derby 3-3 in which imo he got us a point that day.
