Re: General Chat
Because Henderson was bought for so much money you forget how young he is until you see him on that list with the others....... for eg Flanagan caught out against Sunderland and he gets pardoned by some parts of our fan base because he is still a rookie yet Henderson has been getting dogs abuse from some parts of the fans.... It wasn't Hendersons fault we paid so much for him.

A MAN who has been in a hospice for 30 years after he was left paralysed by a hit-and-run driver was paid a birthday visit by LFC manager Kenny Dalglish.
Peter Halligan, from Old Swan, marked his 50th birthday with his family at a party at Jospice in Thornton when the Liverpool FC manager turned up as a surprise guest.
Keen Liverpool fan Peter was left for dead in St Oswald’s Street, Old Swan, after being hit just before his 20th birthday and still remains in a vegetative state.
Reds boss Kenny was among the Liverpool team at the time who made a tape in the hope their messages would help him.
Peter can’t move or acknowledge people but it is believed he can hear noise.
He was in hospital for almost five months and almost died four times after the hit-and-run.
Peter, who is originally from Liverpool, has since been cared for at Jospice after its founder, Father Francis O’Leary, brought him to the facility and his family tries to visit him every day.
His brother Stephen, 52, said: “Jospice have looked after him ever since. He’s in the most wonderful room.
“We don’t actually know what’s going on in his brain.
Our family has a lot of faith. We just think what will be will be.”

After tonights game we can safely say that Ngog, Cole and Poulsen have possibly got moves lined up this week and on Skys coverage at the match it said Aqua is having a medical in Milan tomorrow, hopefully Degen will hit the road too.
Its also safe to say that Jonjos future is most certainly at the club.

Liverpool Football Club was today sending its best wishes to Ronnie Moran after the Liverpool legend was admitted to hospital.
Moran, who has served as player, coach, assistant manager and manager during an illustrious Anfield career, was taken to hospital on Tuesday afternoon, where he is in a comfortable position.
Everybody at Liverpool Football Club wishes Ronnie a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing him back at Melwood as soon as possible.

Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard are locked in a friendly race to raise funds for charity - with fans bidding for their jerseys.
The Liverpool team-mates are rallying round Reds reserve goalkeeper Brad Jones’ effort to raise funds and awareness for bone-marrow cancer sufferers and it has sparked a ‘battle’ with a difference.
Jones’ son, Luca, is battling the disease and new Kop idol Suarez’s top is currently raising around £1,200 -and just ahead of skipper Gerrard’s shirt, which could fetch around £1,000 in the ebay auction.
Other Liverpool players have also donated. Andy Carroll has two strips available, Stewart Downing gave a pair of boots and new boy Jose Enrique contributed a top.
Chelsea stars John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba have joined in with top-class memorabilia.
Even Real Madrid’s Brazilian legend Kaka has been touched by the tale of Luca's fight against myeloid leukaemia.
All funds from the BDL Auction will go to the Anthony Nolan charity, with the total currently standing at £5,000 but likely to double at least as fans up the bidding.
Jones, currently on loan fron Anfield to Championship side Derby, and his partner Dani Lawrence are also keen to let people know how easy it is to donate blood and are backing a new campaign for potential donors to come forward.
Fair play lads.

Liverpool will bid to secure their place in the fourth round of this season's Carling Cup at Brighton on Wednesday night without the services of Charlie Adam and Martin Skrtel.
Both players were dismissed during the defeat to Tottenham on Sunday and will now serve an automatic one match suspension.

Re: General Chat
LIVERPOOL FC’s former owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett have filed papers in the High Court as part of their fight to win hundreds of millions of pounds in damages.
The American pair are engaged in a long-running legal battle after their failure to retain control of LFC last year.
Back in February, Hicks and Gillett were denied permission to sue over the £300m sale of Liverpool FC in the USA.
This meant any claim for damages against former Liverpool directors Sir Martin Broughton and Christian Purslow, the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), and new owner Fenway Sports Group – had to be carried out in the UK courts.
The ECHO understands these papers have now been filed in the High Court. But it could still take several months before the case is heard.
The defendants can either apply to have the case struck off by applying for a summary dismissal - arguing there is no case to answer - or prepare a defence. It is understood the club is relaxed about the latest developments and view it as a continuing legal application which will be robustly defended.
Those close to former LFC chairman Sir Martin Broughton are also said to be not in the least surprised by Hick’s legal move.
One source said: “This is a matter of routine. They had two options - give up or pursue it.
“They were told they were not allowed to take this through the American courts, so they have to fight this in the UK. This is not unexpected.”
Earlier this month Hicks and Gillett changed their registered address for Kop Football Holdings – the company once used to control LFC – to London solicitors Clyde and Co, specialists in dispute resolution.
After their failed High Court bid, Mr Justice Floyd was highly critical of Hicks and Gillett, stating they “should state their case or accept they do not have one.”
The latest developments come almost exactly a year after the new owners took over.
