Two of the WWE's biggest stars visited Anfield today ahead of their Smackdown World Tour show at the Liverpool Echo arena.

Sheamus and Ted DiBiase Jr took time out of their preparations for tonight's event to take in a stadium and museum tour.

Both the competitors are fanatical football fans - but for Sheamus the experience held extra significance due an allegiance to LFC he's held since growing up in Dublin.

He was over for a charity golf thing for Cancer Care West. Himself, the missus, Whelan Houghton Hansen and few others. We provided the transport for free

One of our drivers drove him everywhere for 5 days

Gave him a bag of stuff to sign (had signed jerseys from the liverpool v manc legends game we had sponsored few days before) and he took them with him in the car and our driver gave them back to me later.

He did ring me on drivers phone to find out how to spell my name

Hansen must have bet him at golf the day before

We were outside hotel a few mins early then the agreed time, I think he felt we were rushing him, even though we didn't say a thing to him,would have waited all day for him

The pic was in the local paper, was great publicity for us

Get well soon Ray Clemence

Liverpool FC would like to extend their best wishes to Ray Clemence following the news he has been admitted to hospital.

The FA confirmed the former Reds custodian was undergoing tests after feeling unwell on the Friday prior to England's 1-0 friendly win over Spain.

"Ray Clemence has been unwell while with England and is having tests in hospital," said an FA statement.

"At this time Ray would like to thank everyone for the kind messages he's received and the FA would like to request privacy for his family."

Clemence, who featured 665 times during an illustrious trophy-laden spell at Anfield, is unlikely to return to his role with England in time for Tuesday night's friendly with Sweden.

Everyone at Liverpool Football Club would like to wish Ray a speedy recovery.
