Re: General Chat
Luis Suarez extended his lead at the top of the Premier League goal scoring charts today after he was awarded a second goal in Liverpool's recent match against West Ham.
The strike was originally put down as an own goal after it struck Joey O'Brien.
However, the Premier League's dubious goals panel has decided that the goal should be credited to Suarez - adding to his other goal in the 4-1 win and taking his tally for the season to 15.
Replays of the strike appear to show the ball heading into the stands, however they were not conclusive.
Suarez now has three more goals than the player second in the goal scoring charts, Manchester City's Sergio Aguero.
The Premier League panel also confirmed Liverpool's second goal in the West Ham game will be Mamadou Sakho's first for the club despite Martin Skrtel insisting afterwards he had got the final touch.

A youthful Zimbabwean prophet Eubert Angel has
prophesied that Liverpool will win the English Premier
League title this season.
Angel who is the founder of Spirit Embassy church and once lived in Manchester is widely known for various football prophesies.
In May 2012 Angel prophesied that Chelsea would beat Liverpool to win the FA Cup a few hours before kickoff.
Chelsea went on to win 2-1 after he had correctly spelt the scoreline and gave exact goal descriptions.
He was again on point when he foretold Manchester United’s league glory last season.
A self-confessed Manchester United fan, he however sees Liverpool bagging it this season.
“Liverpool, I am with you this year and God has shown me he is returning you to your glory days,” he
said.
It would be Liverpool’s 19th league title and their first since the 1989/1990 season.
Early this month Angel also correctly prophesised the exact day, date and time former South African
President Nelson Mandela would die.

Liverpool's FA Cup fourth-round tie with either Bournemouth or Burton Albion will be broadcast live on television.
The clash, which will take place away from home, will be shown live on ITV1 on Saturday, January 25, with kick off set for 12.45pm GMT.
The Reds will discover which side they'll be facing when Bournemouth and Burton go head to head next Tuesday evening (January 14) after the tie was postponed on Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch.

Liverpool FC have secured another commercial success with the announcement of nine new global television partnerships
The agreements do not cover live matches but will allow millions of fans across the world to watch the most recent Reds games and access exclusive interviews and behind the scenes footage of the club.
Matthew Baxter, chief media officer at Liverpool FC, said: “It’s fantastic that the club has been able to secure the new host of TV partnerships, allowing passionate Reds to watch the heroes they love.
“One of the club’s main aims is to extend engagement though our various media with the millions of fans across the world, so that they feel part of the Liverpool FC family, and these deals are another step in that direction.”
The deals cover Hong Kong (beIn Sport), Indonesia (Kompass), India (Sony), Middle East and France (beIn Sport), New Zealand (Sommet), Norway (TV2), Balkans (Arena TV), Malta (Go TV) and Iceland (365 Media).
The club will be working with Pitch International, whose head of sales Henri Kamerling added: “These wide ranging deals represent the first steps as we work with the club to deliver their key content to their fans around the world.”

Little Luis has retired from football!!
And it is the moment ,not easy for anyone and inevitable for all us.
There have been many years enjoying what fascinates me , great times spent and the opportunity to see fulfilled the dream I had when I was just a kid .
Today I´ve decided to retire as a professional footballer, thanking the interest of the teams that talked to me in recent weeks, but I think it’s time to end this important chapter in my life and move to the next page.
Thank you, thank you very much to my parents for all those afternoons of heat and cold they spent just to see me happy when I was little. For those Munich boots you bought, working so hard, to let me continue kicking the ball. For all those summers with no vacation. For teaching me to sacrifice myself for what I loved most .
To all my family for always accompany me on this adventure with words of encouragement and support.
To Manolo, my friend and agent , for keeping my feet on the ground and believe in me from the beginning.
To all my teammates, for many concentrations , anecdotes and experiences shared .
To Rafa Benitez and Pako Ayestarán, for teaching me to show my best .
To Luis Aragones, for allowing me to live the dream of every football player, represent his country in a World Cup .
To all my coaches since academy, for guiding me and believe in my football .
To Badalona and S.Gabriel for making me as person , to FC. Barcelona for opening me the door , to Valladolid , Tenerife and Toledo for letting establish myself on first division, to Atletico Madrid for making me enjoy a Calderón Stadium on fire, to R.Santander and Panathinaikos for goods experiences , to Puebla and Pumas for the opportunity to live in a country of warm people and a passionate football, and to Liverpool FC for making me pass to the history of international football and be part fo the Red family, forever.
To each and every one of the people over 17 years of career that have been with me , have helped me and supported me at every stage I have lived and although not mentioned one by one, I will be forever grateful .
And last but not least, the fans, to all who have followed me over the years , always with good intentions , always encouraging and motivating me every game to be a better player every day.
Thank you all for being part of the history of my career and welcome to the next page.
